about me

I am the kind of person who gets pulled into rabbit holes pretty easily. I like to call them side quests because they always start with one small curiosity and turn into a full deep dive.

For example, when I started baking, I was obsessed with understanding the "why" behind the science of it. That eventually turned into an app idea, which pulled me into learning product design and UI/UX. Digging into design helped me understand the "why" of how people interact with things, and that gave me a totally different perspective when it came coding it. I learned programming first, but now I understand the frustration of front end developers when designers have complex design and lots of animation lol. These rabbit holes have given me such a huge appreciation for anyone who builds things, whether they are perfecting a recipe or shipping a piece of software. To me, learning is just a way to see how the world fits together and a constant process of proving to myself that if I am curious enough, I can figure it out.

the "why" behind the site

the "why" behind the site

I made this site as a digital commonplace to keep track of everything I am learning along the way. To be honest, I have spent a lot of time struggling with imposter syndrome and feeling like my work was never quite good enough to show anyone. This space is my way of pushing past that fear.

It is a place where I can share the actual journey instead of just a polished final product. I am learning to be okay with the imperfect parts and the messy middle steps because that is where the real learning happens. This is just a record of me trying things, figuring them out, and being proud of the process also, along the way just sharing things I enjoyed.

This is pretty much a collection of ideas I am into. Struggle is just an important part of learning and something to embrace! This is a pretty much a collection of ideas I am into

my toxic trait is believing i can probably make anything myself… but honestly, struggling through it usually just makes me respect the people who do it even more.
