A small colored pencil study using Prismacolors. I wanted to practice building color slowly, creating texture, and paying closer attention to highlights and shadows through a few simple subjects: onions, green onions, corn, and a lime.

Nothing too complicated, just a quiet exercise in observation and layering. I especially enjoyed working on the lime and figuring out how to make the inside feel bright, juicy, and translucent.
